Influence of Draw Ratio and Take-Up Velocity on Properties of Ultrafiltration Hollow Fiber Membranes from Polyethersulfone

This study aimed to reveal the influence of draw ratio and take-up speed on pore size distribution morphology hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane selective layer. To this end, spinnerets with ring ducts 1.8 1.3 mm were employed, whereas external diameter obtained was kept equal. Atomic force microscopy scanning electron employed Liquid–liquid displacement porosimetry used determine limiting distribution. The produced polyethersulfone membranes had a robust, sponge-like porous structure, permeance 1000 L/(m2·h·bar), smooth layer, mean 25 nm. It found that sizes are affected more by change in speed, surface sizes, roughness, controlled ratio. shown excessive causes layer stretching crop-up sublayer. Consequently, diameters spinneret duct bore needle should match outer lumen diameters, respectively.
